Speak your day, and Echoes listens. It transcribes your voice, reads the mood between the words, and reflects your emotional patterns back to you - week by week, month by month.

Last week
Your echo
This week carried a quiet optimism beneath the noise - you returned to what matters, even on the harder days.
Open the app, tap record, and talk. Echoes transcribes your voice using Whisper, so you don't have to type and nothing to format. A daily entry takes under two minutes, and the words are yours - stored privately on your device.

Every entry is analysed by a sentiment model that maps your words to one of five emotional states - from great to very low. Each day gets a coloured marker. Over weeks, the colours tell a story you might not have noticed on your own.

This week
At the end of each week and month, Echoes generates a written reflection of your entries - what themes surfaced, how your mood shifted, and what you returned to. Not a summary of facts, but a mirror held up to your own words.
July 2025
Your echo
July was a month of transitions - new routines tested, some kept and some quietly dropped. The weeks where you wrote most were almost always your best.

The developer
I'm a Computer Science student at the University of London building Echoes as my final-year AI project. I wanted a journaling app that didn't make me stare at a blank text box - so I built one you can just talk to. It runs on your device, keeps your words private, and gets smarter the longer you use it.
